Here is a step-by-step guide for adding MOON/ETH liquidity that will reward liquidity providers while spending less than $0.40 in total fees moving ETH over from Binance:
Prerequisites:
You have some ETH in Binance (if not, obtain some)
You know how to access your Reddit Wallet in MetaMask. If not, follow Section II and III of the guide here.
Steps:
Log in to your Binance account and go to the 'Withdraw' screen for ETH.
Under network, select Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to get lower fees.
Paste your Reddit Wallet address as the target address.
Choose a small amount to test this out if you'd like.
Click 'Send'.
Repeat steps 1 through 5 to send $1 of BNB Token to the same address. You won't use all of the BNB Tokens, but this will cover the $0.15 fee for moving between chains.
Make sure your Reddit Wallet account is selected in MetaMask. Your ETH is now in the Binance Smart Chain, which you could choose as your network and use 'Import Token' to add ETH if you want to see it at this stage (not required).
Go to https://www.orbiter.finance, which allows you to move assets between chains for minimal fees.
Select the following values:
Move From: Binance Smart Chain
Move To: Arbitrum Nova (which is the chain Reddit uses)
Asset: ETH
Choose how much of your ETH you want to shift over to the Reddit Wallet.
Click 'Send' and confirm. Your ETH will appear in your MetaMask wallet on Arbitrum Nova (Reddit chain) and your Vault on the Reddit phone app.
If you want to see this ETH in MetaMask under your Reddit Wallet, follow these additional steps:
Select Arbitrum Nova at the top of MetaMask.
Click 'Import Tokens' at the bottom.
Search for ETH and add it to see your balance.
That's it! Following these steps, you can add MOON/ETH liquidity for r/cc while spending less than $0.40 in total fees moving ETH over from Binance.
Note that if you only need a tiny bit of ETH to send MOONs to someone, you can use a faucet instead of this approach.
